How is model accuracy calculated?

Model accuracy is calculated by averaging the values of flow, pressure and tank volume deviations.

  • The minimum value of model accuracy is 0% and means bad performance: the average of deviations is above 100%
  • The maximum value of model accuracy is 100% and means outstanding performance: the average of deviations is 0%
  • Message Model accuracy N/A (not available) means that there are no readings for the current time step, or the SCADA or AMI data is not connected to the network.

The model accuracy value is calculated as:

m: magnitude (flow, pressure, tank volume)

M: number of different magnitudes available
