Upload your network
How-to guide
Uploading a network into Qatium is a simple two-step process.
- Already have a hydraulic model? Upload your EPANET input file (.inp).
- No model yet? Upload your GIS data, and we’ll build the model for you.
- Have both? Combine .inp and GIS files to enrich your network.
💡Tip from Q: Want to know what formats you can use? Check out our guide to supported file types before uploading.
Try it yourself with a sample model
For this training exercise, we’ll use an EPANET .inp file to test the import process.
- Download the EPANET .inp file example
- Access Qatium and go to your personal workspace
- Upload the file. You can do this in 2 ways:
- Option A: Use the Upload button
Select Upload and browse for the file on your computer.

- Option B: Drag & drop
Simply drag the .inp file from your computer and drop it into the workspace.

Done! You've just created a network in Qatium!
Now you’re ready to upload your own files and start working with your network.
