Does Qatium have native support for feedback-controlled pumps (VFDs)?

Not directly. Qatium inherits EPANET’s control logic, which allows for rule-based controls (based on time, pressure, levels, etc.), but it does not simulate a real-time feedback loop like a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controlling a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).

As a possible workaround, depending on the goal of the control, feedback-controlled pumps could be approximated in Qatium by using pressure control valves (e.g., PRVs) to simulate the target pressure behavior, even if the real system uses VFDs.
