If you have live data and delimited zones in your network, Qatium will provide useful insights on water balance so that you can improve it.
You can easily evaluate if there’s an abnormally high amount of non-revenue water (NRW) in a specific DMA and what causes it, and take the right actions to amend the situation.
Hover over or click the zone and you’ll receive extra information about:
- Net flow: of water in your network (only if all inlet/outlet sensors have readings).
- Efficiency: percentage of water that gets to customers (only if there are inlet/outlet flow sensors and demands).
In addition, with the Zones panel you can quickly locate the inlets and outlets in each sector. This will help you understand how the DMAs are supplied and notice if any value is outside the expected range. You’ll be able to promptly find out if there really is an anomaly consumption in the network, increase in NRW, among other things.
To activate it:
- Click on the Zones icon
- Switch the toggle ON
The icon for inlets and outlets will appear on the map:
- Alone, if no readings are available.
- With a sensor icon in gray: when in the current time there are no readings available.
- With a sensor icon in blue: when there are readings for the current period.
When there are no customer points uploaded in the network, we use junctions with demands to calculate the number of customer points and their pressures.
To have a clearer view of this information, you can activate the Overview work mode.
