Right after you upload your readings files, sensor icons will appear on your map. You’ll see them either in blue or gray, depending on the data available for the current hour.
- Blue : if the received data matches the time step you are in. For example: the reading was taken at 11 a.m. and you visit the platform or navigate through the timeline around that hour.
- Gray : when there’s no data for the current time step but for a previous or a future one. For example: reading was taken at 11 a.m. and you visit the platform or navigate through the timeline at 3 p.m..
Hovering over or clicking on the asset with a sensor icon, you’ll see:
- The value of the sensor reading displayed next to the simulation value. And the date and time when the reading was taken.
- A graph representing the values from both the readings and the simulation throughout the day.
Qatium will display these values only when there are readings available at the current or pastime. In the image below can see an example for readings available only from 12:45 p.m. to 19:45 p.m..
- In the first case, the asset has no readings in past time steps but has them in the future. So we show the sensor in gray and N/A information.
- For the second one, the asset has readings in the current time step, so the information is available. Sensor is blue, and the data is displayed.
- Last but not least, the asset has no readings in the current time step but in the past. The sensor will be gray and the information will show the last reading taken.
Tip from Q:
You can also ask me for info on the network readings and when they were taken. Just ask in the chat and I'll give you all the details. For example: Q, what’s the downstream pressure of Picnic_P1? What time were the readings taken?
