We know that sometimes it’s difficult to have a complete dataset for your network, and we want to help. Qatium allows you to build a hydraulic model from GIS data, with no modeling skills required.
If you already have a model to upload into Qatium, you can update it and improve your network by adding new information.

Create a model
Gather all your GIS files and drag & drop them into Qatium, we’ll process the data and try to create the most accurate version of your network.

Update a model
You already have a .inp model, but it’s old or incomplete? Replace it with an updated one or add GIS files to complement it—Qatium will take care of the rest.
- To replace the existing files with updated ones: either drag and drop them onto the network, or use the Network layers panel.
- To add new files or GIS layers: follow either of the previous steps — just make sure to name the new files differently to avoid overwriting existing ones.
You can do this as many times as necessary anytime you need to update your network with new information.

Validate your model
With Qatium, you can validate your model against historical or live data to compare the model simulation results with actual information. You can do that quickly and easily by adding readings to your network through CSV files.
