This functionality allows you to focus on concrete tasks quickly. Each work mode is a preset designed especially to help you perform operations in your network easily. From there, you’ll be able to hide or display whatever you need as you do normally.
Go ahead and ask me to activate or change work modes directly from the assistant chat. I’m here to help!
Overview
This is the default work mode when the network has delimited zones. Here, you’ll see the Zones panel opened and its toggle enabled: this will allow you to see the zone inlets and outlets, pressures, and boundary valves when clicking on each zone. The pressures will be hidden, and in the Network Elements panel you’ll see some layers are disabled in the seek for clarity.
It’s the perfect work mode to test scenarios like pressure management.
Analysis
Here you’ll have the pressure and flow panels & layers displayed, and the zones are hidden. It’s the best work mode to check the general state of your network.
Warnings
If you have readings uploaded to your network, you’ll be able to access this work mode to focus on the assets with issues. The panels and the pressure layer are hidden to have a clear vision while working on the problem.
In this work mode, you’ll be able to focus, among other things, on your tank management when their levels are trespassing the thresholds.
Shutdown
This work mode is the quick and easy way to perform a watermain shutdown in Qatium. The pressure & the flow panel are hidden along with the pressure layer. This way, you can focus on the flow and operate pipes with the Shutdown panel.
Flushing
In this work mode, you’ll only see the Flushing and the Demand Spike panel, along with the flow layer on the map. This will help you focus on designing your flushing sequence.
Synoptic
Available on |
This is a high-level representation of your network. It represents only the major assets, their performance, and interconnections, reducing the noise and providing a simplified view that is particularly useful in large networks.
To activate the synoptic mode for your network, you need to:
- Get in touch with Q
- Provide an AutoCAD .DWG file containing the drawing of your desired synoptic view.
You’ll notice that in the Synoptic work mode, everything works the same, but to offer you a clearer picture:
- Some panels and buttons will be hidden.
- You won’t be able to perform some scenarios since there are no junctions or hydrants represented.
