Upload your network

Uploading your network into Qatium is very easy.

• If you already have a hydraulic model, you can simply upload the EPANET input file (.inp) 
• If you don’t: upload your GIS data and we’ll create the model for you

You can also combine datasets using both GIS files and a model (.inp).

Use the Upload button or drag & drop your files directly into the platform, and your network will be created within seconds.

These are the files & formats supported by Qatium:

• CSV–for readings and customer points. 
• EPANET (.inp)–Qatium only supports a single .inp file at a time,
  otherwise we’ll process the first one and ignore the rest.
• GIS files
  • GeoJSON
  •  Shapefiles

To make the most out of Qatium, here’s what we recommend for your network: 

• Upload as many elements as possible to gain more practical insights.  
• Set the network projection to ensure that its location on the map is accurate.
• Connect live data so that it closely reflects the latest state of the physical network.
• Set water quality parameters to optimize design and operation, minimize water losses,
  and make water treatment processes more efficient.

We know that sometimes there might be some information missing, so we came up with a method to create the most complete version of your network–even if you don’t have all the data available. Read this article to learn more about how Qatium works.
