Before sending anything, you have to know that Qatium will only display data sent against an existing network asset.
E.g. To display a flow meter reading, send the data specifying the pipe ID on which the sensor is on.
We’ll use a mapping between variables metrics and asset properties by default. That’s why the asset IDs have to match the network asset IDs according to this table:

Additionally, you can import a mapping file later to reassign imported readings to desired assets and asset properties. This allows you to store readings for an identifier and later make necessary adjustments when network changes.

Any information received that doesn’t correspond to the one specified in the table will be discarded. E.g.: pressure data will not be shown if it’s associated to a pipe ID.
